I was astounded upon seeing it in the Asheville
The vivid green and white striped pitcher along with a green snake-like spadix peeking out from the opening
but expect the offspring to reach 3' tall x 5' wide in 10 years
Aspidistra elatior Goldfeather Afghanistan Trillium sulcatum was lumped withWe are pleased to finally be able to once again offer the amazing Aspidistra elatior 'Goldfeather'. Named and introduced in the US by plantsman Barry Yinger, it has remained scarce, although it's one of best and most winter hardy selections we grow. Each fast growing, evergreen patch produces 30" tall clumps of dramatic foliage that is heavily streaked with large bands of green and yellow. Maintenance: Aspidistra are very low maintenance perennials.
