Mike Makhalemele Kabuzela 042925 So while a song like

So while a song like "Pon de Replay" -- to pick the most obvious exhibit -- is driven by booming dancehall-lite beats and a reggae vocal cadence (and title spelling)

but then comes a brilliant line like "She's the one I'm thinking of when I am beating Richard up" ("Her")

" "Last to Know" that are so painfully earnest that one can almost hear director Michael Bay pitching them to the studio for inclusion on the soundtracks for his next ten TRANSFORMERS sequels

Engineers include: Chris Bell

Compiled mostly from tracks on the two UK releases HATFUL OF HOLLOW and THE WORLD WON'T LISTEN
