It has some grip and length from the gentle skin contact

When the wine in barrel takes a month or two longer to finish fermentation

The most important difference is the secondary fermentation is only done with natural grape juice with active yeast

2023 Jade Gross 'Harrobia' Tinto, Rioja DOCa, Spain Nicolas Reau Les VignotsThis is Jade's first estate bottling of tempranillo. The fruit come from her La Cantera plot located in Labastida, Rioja Alavesa. 36 year old goblet trained (bush vines) vineyard planted on clay limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. Arrives March 2026.
