It has much less pebbles than usual and also a higher proportion of clay which translates in a much cooler soil. A layer of marl & limestone is found at only 40cm from the surface which gives a higher calcareous character to the wine Fermentation and aging for 11 moths in French & Austrian casks, and additional 7 months in steel
