The 2025 edition's distinction is its barrel wood: Chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii), a native American oak species rarely used in bourbon. The staves were air dried and seasoned for varying periods18 months to five yearsbefore toasting and charring, creating diverse wood interaction across the blend.
