Kosuge Carneros Pinot Noir El Galpon 2023 Wine Seminar leaving the fruit and theEl Galpon is a small Carneros vineyard adjacent to the equipment shop of the vineyard management crew Byron Kosuge has worked with for decades. The name is Argentinian Spanish for "the shed," and the wine reflects that informalityit's 100% Pinot Noir, aged with a portion in concrete rather than barrel. The result is darker fruited and more textural than Byron's straight Carneros Pinot, with a peppery, almost spicy lift from the concrete. A genuinely
