The idea is to be more than the sum of the parts

and orange peel

ged 9–20 years in French oak before blending (multiple vintages are blended in a stainless-steel tank that is topped off and extracted from in a solera-type system)

then macerated on their skins and fermented for 21 days before pressing to a used French oak barrel

A transplant to the Langhe from Germany, Philine has worked alongside some of the top producers in Barolo. She makes just tiny amounts of Nebbiolo currently, though a Barolo from the Preda vineyard in the Barolo commune is aging and destined to be released in 2024.
