2023 | Domaine Albert Mann Pinot Blanc | Alsace | France Nihonsakari briochey finish is balanced byBiodynamic Pinot Blanc from one of Alsace's very top domaines quietly brilliant, never showy. Domaine Albert Mann, in Wettolsheim, is run by the Barthelm brothers and has been biodynamic since 2000 a union of two winemaking families dating to the 1600s. Across 24 hectares and a hundred plus parcels they've risen to the top rank of Alsace. This is their Pinot Blanc: dry, textured, and a benchmark for what the "underrated" grape can do in serious hands.
