The label for this Rosso was actually the first one designed for the di Grutollas by an artist friend. It was deemed too dark for a first release and so they opted for another drawing from the same artist, a dragon sipping a glass of red while sitting on a barrel. You may recognize that label as Drogone. The vines are planted in heavy clay over limestone.
