We acquired this form as Bletilla ochracea light yellow, so we added the cultivar name, Bletilla 'Dawn's Early Light'. Starting in mid June and continuing into August (NC), the 30" tall spikes emerge from the wide, pleated green foliage, each laden with 3 5 flowers which emerge light yellow and age to white, with a bright golden orange lip.
