This stone is mined in Mexico, and it works into some very beautiful cabochons. It tends to slab nicely and is often fairly solid with only the occasional rare fracture. Some can have voids, but these are easy to work around, and they are still fairly rare. We have greatly enjoyed working with this gorgeous stone,
