Canna 'Ermine' is a Curt Wallace hybrid that's still regarded as the closest to white (as judged by a team of colorblind nurserymen)

Stokesia laevis Honeysong Purple Solidago and caterpillarsStokesia 'Honeysong Purple' is an exciting introduction from the late hosta guru Alex Summers and his son Alan, of the former Carroll Gardens. Stokesia 'Honeysong Purple' boasts large, vivid, dark purple flowers with a contrasting reddish pink center, starting for us in late June on a nice, compact 1' tall x 2' wide clump. This is truly one of the most stunning colored stokesia on the market!
