For me, this is a true sign that autumn has arrived and they make a lovely sight in the late summer autumn garden with their stems of single pale pink flowers that stand proud above the foliage and waver in the breeze which is where they get their name windflower from. Anemones provide weeks of colour when other plants are past their best.
