Whatever clothes she once had are long gone
He needs to be propped against something in order to stand up

composed of richly colored cut cotton cloth and filled with dozens of little crocheted bits
Man About to Hike Over Cliff c. 1880s Pencil Drawing Odd Fellows Whatever clothes she once hadThis old pencil drawing is packed with semi hidden details I see a man's profile in the top rock, and the profile of a dog in the one to its right (and maybe also an embracing couple just underneath it), and then there is a signature and date hidden in the shrubbery at the bottom. I might guess there is some social political commentary going on here too, as our man, a hunter I'd think though he also looks a bit like a soldier appears poised to walk
