Sweet and Self-Reflexive Old Match Covered Match Box old wooden pull toy which I assume would haveOf course an old match box should be encased in matches, each one burned black before being carefully laid down alongside the one before it. To my eye quite a satisfying thing formally, and even better self reflexive I'l like to think it was the matches from this very Red & White Brand match box that were used to make it, yielding the empty box! 5 1 8" x 3" x 1 3 4". Very good condition. C. 1940s or so, I believe.
