Old Folk Art Boot Doorstop! porcelain bell Dating from the 1920s-30sIve seen a lot of folk art doorstops, and maybe even a few shaped like Victorian ladies boots, but Ive never seen one like this. I love it for its sort of crude awkwardness, and that red toe and trim, making me think it might be a marching or majorette boot, or maybe that of a circus ring leader! And of course I like the idea of putting a foot down to stop the door, though this is not very heavy and I dont think would be especially effective at at!
