Description
saturated dark ruby
cherry preserve
it is a very elegant Port with a touch of understatement
As good as this is though
Based on the 2008 vintage
Joseph Drouhin, Beaune Greves Rouge other_regions saturated dark ruby(from a . 80 ha parcel in the climat of Sur les Grves). A deft application of wood frames slightly riper aromas of spicy black raspberry, cherry and lovely floral nuances and in particular, violet. The delicious and tautly muscular flavors possess very good verve while the firm, serious and youthfully austere finish makes clear that this is definitely built to age. This is excellent though a wine that will need at least a few years of patience.
