I found this piece at a fantastic antique shop in Hew Hampshire filled with extraordinary things

I believe this small Chinese carved wooden horse dates to the 1930s or 40s

and with little blue and green dot patterns on both exterior and interior

most pronounced on the interior

I love his egg shaped body, and especially the Easter egg like paint job on it, perfectly complemented by striped sleeves and tights. And the ^ shaped raised eyebrow and red lined open mouth and those funny little shoes! are the perfect final touches! Very good condition and works
