Clearly the pumpkin-red color of the Red Quill above was its most important attribute
it measures 6 3/4" l x 1" wide x 3/8"
This piece would make a great fruit or serving bowl
Dean--painted in gold on both sides near the bow--is well in tact
But most exciting seems to have been the Priests of Pallas masked ball

What a face, and what a watermelon, and how much fun I think it would have been to visit Parker & Wood's Agricultural Warehouse and Seed Store (with celebrated ice tools!) in Boston, located just a few steps from historic Faneuil Hall. 5 1 8" x
