7 3/8" t x 2 1/2" w x 1 5/8" d and in very good condition

This fabulous creature was carved from walrus tusk

I am guessing it is stuffed with sawdust

with varnish over top

though I don't think a bad idea to pretend one is 35 until one reaches 60

SOLD Wonderful Old Carved Black Dog with Great Face unique kilim 7 3/8" t x 2As sweet an old carved dog as I think I've had, nose to tail, and I'm a bit loathe to part with this one. The eyes seem to me to be inlaid nails though it's a bit hard to tell; definitely they're just right for this very empathetic (and very truly dog like) face, whatever the case. Wonderfully carved long ears and stub tail, all stained black but for the pink nose. Really a charmer, I'd guess 1920s 30s or so. 5 1 2" l x 3 11 16" t x 1 3 8" w. Very
