Elio Perrone "tasmorcan" Barbera d'Asti, 2022 Spätburgunde 30+ year old vines onDark berries and anise float above layers of leather, mint and tobacco. Palate has a bright berry center, with defined tannins and a minerally, dark fruit finish. Winemaker Stefano Perrone also makes our favorite "Bigaro" sparkling and the "Sourgal" Moscato d'Asti, a perennial favorite. This wine is anything but sweet it's focused and showcases the terroir specific aspect of Asti reds. "Tascorcan" comes from the Piedmontese dialect for 'badger'. Elio
