Pretty Treen Canister with Rounded Lid FLT there is something about this

there is something about this metal form that remains that I find incredibly tender

Quite a remarkable document of the time

Signed on the bottom with what looks like Jani 1997

and the straw bristles tightly wrapped (I believe by hand) with wire and in great shape

really beautiful--perfectly smooth and with only minor wear

Pretty Treen Canister with Rounded Lid FLT there is something about thisI'm not sure what this treen canister was made to hold, but it's a lovely thing, and could now house matches, or q tips, or whatever. Earlyish 20th century I would think, and in great condition. The lid slides on; it is not threaded. 4" tall x 2 1 8" in diameter.
