but the balance isn’t nearly as well dialed in compared to the best of these grands crus

A spicy and beautifully complex nose of blue and black pinot fruit, plum and a lovely note of violet introduces rich, detailed and intensely mineral driven flavors that possess a highly sophisticated mouth feel before terminating in a long, balanced and overtly austere finish. This understated effort is wonderfully pure and it would amply repay medium term cellaring. Classy juice. (91 94) 2018+
