Which, as I look at it, seems all to hinge on this woman standing before the beheaded figure I'd like to imagine it is she who has finally gotten justice. (Being strongly averse to capital punishment, myself, I'll read that justice as metaphorical.) Hard to look at a silhouetted scene like this without thinking of the work of Kara Walker now,
