Definitely this has a very gothic flavor

I believe. Terrific hand carved detailing of the back, legs and seat, which a mix of gold, creamy white and blood red paint. It's a bit hard to tell if all carved of one piece of wood or whether the legs were adhered; I think perhaps the latter, but if so very well done and completely square and
