This is generous yet quite classy and should also amply repay up to a decade of cellaring

with plenty of dark red cherry

perfumed aftertaste

600-liter demi-muids for 18 months

Benjamin Leroux, Mazoyeres Chambertin Vintage:2008 with superb delineation(35% whole clusters). A very toasty and menthol infused nose offers up plenty of sauvage and earth elements on the mostly wild dark currant scents. The rich, round and velvet textured flavors possess good midpalate density though the finish is overtly woody. While this may eventually eat most of its wood, its not completely clear that it will ever successfully integrate all of it. (91 93) 2028+
