This is an excellent wine to be enjoyed over the next 30+ years

full and sweet broad-scaled yet elegant flavors that are solidly structured and firm on the detailed and wonderfully intense finish

There is impressive richness and mid-palate concentration to the extract-rich and caressing middle weight flavors that coat the palate before terminating in an intense and attractively dry finish where a hint of bitter lemon appears

The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins

There is just enough reduction present to make the nose difficult to assess but the underlying fruit does appear to be fully ripe

More interesting are the succulent, even suave, medium bodied flavors that possess a sleek mouthfeel while exhibiting fine length on the balanced and youthfully austere finale. While this should be capable of rewarding up to a decade of keeping, it should be reasonably approachable after only 4 to 5 years.
