this is one of those wines where you have to pick the moment very carefully
a textbook harvest and the wine is subtle
Tarlant, L'Aerienne Prestige Millesime Rose Brut Zero it is positively stunningThis bottle of the 2004 Brut Nature Ros l'Arienne was disgorged in January 2019, and it was still a little tight after its recent disgorgement when I tasted it at the winery, unfurling in the glass with a shy bouquet of red berries, licorice, orange rind and warm bread. On the palate, it's medium to full bodied, chiseled and incisive, with a taut, tensile core and a chalky finish.
