This striking poster dates to the earlyish 1970s I believe

I've always found stitching on baseballs super beautiful in and of itself and also as it calls attention to the  construction of the skin of the ball from two pieces leather laid in opposite directions

This old ship in a bottle whimsy has accumulated a good amount of dust and dirt inside over the years

but I've got to say that this salesman sample is that indeed--when I first saw it
