this is one of the loveliest I've seen--stretching just over thirty inches long and terminating in an elegant ball in cage with a perfectly pointy tip

I can almost hear this little carved wooden bird chirping away in its little wire cage

and have kept an eye out for similar pieces since--so immediately snatched up these

but altogether really lovely
