Brammel hand colored engraving (Benjamin Bramell, American, 1794 1851), that one picturing "Helen and Her Rose" and it, like this one, in a wonderful period frame. I'm now officially a fan, including for the way in which the prints feel as if centering the interior lives of these young women, here absolutely making me feel how pleased and proud our dear Martha felt in her pretty new frock.
