This exceptional cuvée was created in 1964 as a tribute to the House’s founder
80% Malbec
although a 1973 Chardonnay and 1974 Cabernet Sauvignon were made from purchased fruit
including 'cynarine'
thus creating a coppery-colored wine (in fact the Italian word “Ramato” refers to the copper color)

Intense aromas of pear and peach nectar, pollen, honey, apricot and tea. Energetic on the palate, offering ripe pit and orchard fruit flavors. Excellent clarity with a long peachy finish.
