Cast Iron River Boat Paperweight huge bowl I found this piece at

I found this piece at an estate sale in Kansas City at a mansion loaded with many fine antiques

and the gold painted border near the age remains pronounced--but I like how it has faded and darkened with age

3 7/8" in diameter

Images document one jug

I am guessing this piece is Native American

Cast Iron River Boat Paperweight huge bowl I found this piece atJust a sweet old cast iron steamboat or riverboat, very heavy for its size so great as a paperweight, but also just set somewhere. It sits fine upright, though leans a little to one side. It is possible the surface of this piece was once painted, but the paint is long gone if so. It definitely fairly old but I haven't found its match, and don't know much about it. A pretty great little object though for sure! 2 3 4" long x 1 1 2" tall x 3 4" deep.
