Description
This refreshing effort is really quite good for a villages level Chassagne and worth checking out
A brooding nose is comprised of dark cherries
the balance of 20% made up by Pinot Meunier
This behemoth demands 8-10 years of cellaring but should ultimately reward patient cellaring in a big way
powerful and beautifully persistent finish
Vougeraie, Puligny Montrachet Vintage:2021 This refreshing effort is really(from Noyer Bret and La Rue aux Vaches). Reduction pushes the fruit to the background and renders the nose impossible to assess. On the plus side there is both good freshness and verve to the delicious and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that offer fine persistence on the clean and dry if only moderately complex finish. This too should drink well on the early side while being able to repay a few years of cellaring. (87 90) 2019+
