it's sturdy and a bit stoic too I think

Its previous matte showed a lot of age

with just a bit of tearing to the paper label in a few spots

but even more so because I think the painting itself is just terrific--very tender

Plus it it is in terrific shape

Turning the handle here rotates one of two colorful round glass slides, making kaleidoscopic patterns as it shifts in relation to the static one. Just a lovely thing, especially great set near a window to hold to the light for optimal viewing. Overall: 7 3 4" long including handle. Kaleidoscope glass is 1 3 4" in diameter. Very good
