Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1945 Commemorative Relief Hand-Carved by a German POW in Normandy visually-hidden Close Combat Clasp of indeterminate(Kriegsgefangenen Gedenktafel). An elaborate commemorative relief, constructed of wood, the obverse featuring a hand carved scene of a male and female figure seats in an alpine style tavern, situated above a dedication of KRIEGSGEFANGENSCHAFT 1945 (PRISONER OF WAR 1945), situated with a fitted and brown painted wooden frame, the reverse riveted with a magnetic metal suspension loop, bearing a handwritten dedication of ERINNERUNG A. D.
