Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with bronze clasp and horizontal pinback, the obverse with a raised rightward facing profile, circumscribed by name, the reverse with an inscription of FR LANGJHRIGE TREUE DIENSTE (FOR MANY YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE), within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked,
