Germany, Third Reich. An Air Protection Medal, Ii Class certificate_of_authenticity circa 1920-25(Luftschutz Ehrenzeichen II Klasse). Constructed of aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENST IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR MERIT IN AIR PROTECTION), the reverse with a central raised date of 1939, unmarked, measuring 40. 33 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
