Germany, Wehrmacht. A Commemorative Silver Case to an Oberst from an NSDAP Kreisleiter, by Hermann Bauer Auction Archive 15th July 1892(Gedenketui in Silber). A unique and personalized commemorative case, constructed of silver with a lacquered wooden base, the lid bearing an engraved inscription of ZUM OBERST (TO OBERST COLONEL), situated below three rivet holes which accommodated a decoration that has been lost to time, with an engraved Kreisleiters signature at the bottom right corner, opening with a functional hinge to reveal a wood lined interior divided into two compartments,
