Like all Iwasaki files, this one is fast cutting yet leaves behind a very smooth surface. It is the perfect tool for shaping spindles, either by hand or on a lathe. The self clearing teeth are arranged in curved contours for an aggressive, smooth cutting action. Overall length is a little over 12"; actual toothed surface is around 9" in length by 15 16" wide.
