George Stephenson's 'Rocket' mb-height 5408 in the Chapel of TrinGeorge Stephenson's 'Rocket', c1905. On 11 October 1829 'Rocket' won the Rainhill Trials, a competition held to determine the engine to be used on the Liverpool to Manchester Railway.
