Dark blue woolen Glengarry with red and white checkered band, black silk rear tails and badge backing, cap badge inner circlet bearing the cypher L, on the left of the cypher is a boar's head and on the right a wild cat, above the cypher is the Princess's coronet, the outer circlet inscribed with ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND, all within a wreath of thistles, with red toorie on crown, extremely
