Medal in bronze gilt, measuring 30. 5 mm in diameter, exhibiting scattered gilt wear, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine. In its balsa wood box of issue, the end panel officially stamped in red ink with a cherry blossom, gilt characters on the lid and marked on the white satin lined inside lid, both in gold coloured ink, medal bed in navy blue felt, the box measuring 57. 5 mm in
