Germany, Kriegsmarine. A 1935 Kriegsmarine Kiel Swimming Competition First Place Medal Auction Instituted in 1940 (in silver(Kriegsmarine Medaille). Constructed of bronzed feinzink with multi coloured enamels, the obverse with a central raised inscription of MARINEMEISTERSCHAFTEN KIEL JUNI 1935 with an etched inscription of 200 M. BRUSTSCHWIMMEN I, above a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, topped by a naval ensign, unmarked, measuring 82 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
