Constructed of silver, the obverse with a central raised firefighter clutching a hose and blowing a horn, above a burning building, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE UM DAS FEUERLSCHWESEN (FOR MERIT IN THE FIRE BRIGADE), with a mobile swastika at the bottom, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked PREUSS.
