Germany, Third Reich. A 1939 War Merit Medal With Award Document To Administrative Auxiliary Josefa Decken, C. 1944 Auction Archive awarded in five classes (Grand(Kriegsverdienstmedaille). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a raised Maltese Cross, overlaid by a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an inscription of FR KRIEGS VERDIENST 1939 (FOR WAR MERIT 1939), unmarked, measuring 32. 06 mm (w) x 36. 85 mm (h), on a black, white and red striped ribbon, very fine. A 1939 War Merit Medal award document on cream coloured paper. In black ink, stamped and signed.
