A cross patte of multi piece construction consisting of a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silvered border, on loop for suspension with period original ribbon, obverse presents with a raised central W, with the reinstitution date of 1914 in raised numbers on the bottom arm and a raised Prussian royal crown on the top arm, the obverse presents with three raised oak leaves in the centre topped by a raised FW
