Van Rensburg is present on the Queens South Africa Medal Roll, and was entitled to the Cape Colony and the South Africa 1901 clasps. Warren's Mounted Infantry was a colonial mounted unit raised in Natal during the Second Boer War (18991902) under the command of Major F.
