In silver, with the obverse bearing a leftward facing bust of George the 6th, and the reverse bearing the winged Roman Goddess Victory holding a laurel wreath. Medal named to Tpr. R. E Rutlege, 14479707 on the rim. On period ribbon denoting general service with a Palestine 1945 1948 clasp affixed. Medal measuring at 35mm (w) x 48mm (h to top of suspension).
