Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal in Bronze, with Case Auction Archive with clusters of seven rays(Tapferkeitsmedaille 1915 Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Cross Patte defaced by a central crowned Saxon coat of arms, with the three and nine oclock arms bearing a date of 1914, the reverse bearing the raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 17 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 5 grams,
